The Arab Council for Social Responsibility organized an internet conference on the role of social responsibility and assistive technology for people with special abilities, which is the second event that was organized under the patronage of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications.
He discussed the relationship between assistive technology and social responsibility and the importance of the assistive technology file in integrating and empowering people with different disabilities to obtain better life and job opportunities, and how to transform Egypt into an international center in the field of assistive technology, and support innovators in this regard.
Dr. Randa Rizk, Secretary General of the Arab Council for Social Responsibility, emphasized President Sisi's constant interest in people of determination, as well as programs not only in the technological field but also in the development field, thanking the Minister of Communications and Information Technology for his continuous support to this public sector.
The Secretary General of the Arab Council referred to the role of the academic partnership for social responsibility with the University of the Future in supporting those of determination among the talented and outstanding university students.
The online conference was moderated by Dr. Nizar Sami, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Responsibility Council, while Hoda Dahroug, Head of the Central Department for Community Development at the Ministry of Communications, Dr. Noha Rabie, Director of Responsibility and Community Services at the Ministry of Communications, and Engineer Amr Abdel Aziz, a programmer at the Ministry of Communications participated in it. Attendees included Dr. Abeer Shaqwer, Assistant Resident Representative for Comprehensive Development at the United Nations Development Program, Eng. Rami Fouad, Director of Operations at Americana Egypt, Eng. Hisham Soliman, Film Producer, Former Head of DMC Channels Network, and Dr. Mohamed Azzam, Assistant Secretary General The Arab Council for Social Responsibility, and Amr Abdel Aziz is also a pioneer in the field of assistive technology.
